Tabaru zaka(Tabaru hill) is one of the famous minyo, japanese traditional folk song which sung about Seinan-War in 1877 which Saigo Takamori went to. ------------------------------------------------------------ ※田原坂は今、心霊スポットとしても有名らしいですm(__)m 1877(Meiji 10) Satuma forces which saigo takamori join in, fought with goverment forces, and the war concluded at tabaru zaka with bitter fighting and he lost. There were many casualties there, so it was known as tragedy when modern japan took birth. Rain falls, horse and warrior get wet, we can go through tabaru hill. If we were killed, hope we are under the cherry blossoms. If we died, cherry blossoms fall on the body. This is know as Tabaru zaka, but in fact it's the Goketubushi sung in Kagoshima. Tabaruzaka has same lyrics, but a little bit different with melody.
